How do the law offices of Joseph A. Hanshe P.C. evaluate your malpractice case?

The firm specializes in medical, dental, and podiatric malpractice.  We do not use “in house”
physicians or “hire” nurses to review potential matters. It is our policy to accept only those cases
that we deem meritorious after having reviewed the facts of the case with outside, independent,
medical practitioners. The firm usually requests currently practicing clinical professors in the
medical profession, associated with major teaching hospitals, for expert opinions on liability issues.
Upon the review and decision that there was a deviation from accepted standards of practice, we
will accept the matter for suit.  On average, the firm rejects 75% of the cases that come in for
review.

For over twenty years the principal of this law firm, Joseph A. Hanshe, Esq., has represented
physicians, hospitals, dentists, and podiatrists in defending professional liability cases in the
greater New York state area. We continue to represent physicians, dentists, and healthcare
professionals in many matters related to the practice of their professions. For these reasons, we
will only accept matters where the liability is supported by unbiased medical opinion and the
damages sustained are significant.
