Bethany House of Nassau County
For the past 12 years I have been involved with Bethany House, a home for abused women and children. For the past 2 years I have been the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Bethany is overseen by Sr. Aimee Koonmen, OP, who is its Executive Director. It provides shelter for homeless women and children and is non-sectarian. Joseph Hanshe, a lawyer from New York and a patron of Sharanalayam, a home for orphans and destitutes at Pollachi India.
